It's amazing the garbage that Murray fans are talking. They've (a small minority) been pretty vocal on social media with some dumb stuff. Somehow they say that AP fans are the crass ones which I haven't seen at all. Being from that area though, not surprised. Murray fans are about like UK fans who think they poop rainbows and unicorns are real.
A lot of them on twitter are complaining and whining about stuff that has absolutely nothing to do with the game.
Not all of them, but there is a lot.
There was a twitter user named “Aimee”, who seems like an alter ego of one of the racer nation posters, claiming that Peay fans said they were going to deliberately hurt Morant. I believe “she” blew that up from a comment where someone said they hope that he didn’t hurt his ankle (as he did against Belmont). From there “she” turned it into Peay fans threatening to hurt the man. They are grasping at straws trying to make us look bad.
Tomorrow, regardless of outcome, the talk on their board will be a list of complaints about the Dunn Center and how they got screwed or how much better they are than us. Same old s*it every year. They are God’s gift to college basketball. How many sweet 16’s have they been to? The same number as us. ZERO.

"The Spider Man Josh Lewis...does he like it? You better believe it! Do the Gov fans like it? You can believe it again! Does the P-Team like it? You can go to the bank on it baby! Lewis absolutely stuffed it, he said eat it!" - Peayvoice on "The Block"
Everybody always points to a twitter or message board vocal few as indicative of the entire fanbase and nothing could be further from the truth. Most of us realize that we are facing an experienced, senior laden and well coached cast surrounding Taylor. We start 2 freshman, a sophomore and a first year in D1 juco transfer, albeit one with a lot of hype lol. Why would we need to be making any excuses except our year after regular and conference championship team is in a bit of a rebuild mold with a happenstance sophomore two and done lol? This is the team Figger has built to excel this season and he’s done a dang good job and you should be happy. I’m happy to be where we are win or lose this season and won’t need excuses if we lose.

Now I will preface this by saying I’ve not watched Morant before tonight. He did not look all that impressive. At least not a Top 5 draft pick. Maybe it was the scouts or being on ESPN2, but it seemed he was trying way too hard.
Lol I know he makes 32 pts, 7 assists and 6 rebounds look like he wasn’t there roflmao, even though he faces double and triple teams EVERY trip. THAT is why he’s a projected lottery pick and you and I aren’t pro scouts.

He hasn’t played above the rim since he rolled his ankle and it shows. Playing half speed with little to none of the explosiveness he had prior.
As to your question not as good as we are now lol. With that said, P**y fans, how good would YOU be without TAYLOR? Honestly....
See how that works?
Oh I agree!! I’m not taking anything away from anyone, mine was more in reference to someone saying that they weren’t that impressed. Without Morant or even Taylor, neither team would be what they are. Both kids are special and talented.
