What a performance by the Govs and a good comeback win after last weekends loss. Spoiled TSU’s homecoming just like I was hoping they would.

Win anyway you can! Defense played very well except for a couple of plays and the offense did what it had to do to win. On the last drive we were still running the ball with time running out---the next thing you know the QB is loose for a 36 yard run down to the 2 yard line and quick score----I then think we have scored too quick. The defense then holds on and we win.

Congrats APSU!!!! We didn't play well when it counted. You guys were committed to winning and it showed. Looks like the near future is bright for you guys with the talent you'll have returning. apsufan82, thanks for visiting and posting on our board. You are right we are very frustrated. I'm not frustrated with losing to APSU. You guys have a really good team this year. I'm frustrated with how we lost. I really think we got out coached by you guys in the last 5-7 minutes of the game. When we took the lead we put it all on our defense to maintain the lead. We didn't do anything offensively to increase the lead. It's very frustrating to see run plays being called when you are 2nd and 17; and 3rd and 15. That made absolutely no sense. Your coaches maintained their strategy and their trust in your guys to get the job done. Good luck in the rest of your season!!! Hopefully next year we'll get you guys back....  PS: Any thoughts on how both schools can turn this into a real rivalry? Because it really should be. |
